The following is a list of the international treaties related to space activities.
These treaties, although now old, are intelligently structured around the principles they enunciate, so that they can adapt to the evolution of space activities. It is recalled that to be applicable on a national territory, a treaty must be signed and ratified according to the constitutional procedures of each State. A treaty signed by a State, but not ratified, has no binding force. Moreover, it is not necessary to have participated in the elaboration of a treaty to be bound by its provisions. A State may declare that it will accede to the treaty after it has been signed and entered into force.
